2013 Volvo XC60 Inscription Edition Packs A Luxurious Interior

2012-Volvo-XC60-Inscription-embroidered-head-rest To celebrate the XC60 crossover becoming Volvo’s best-selling model in 2011, a special-edition Inscription model has been released. The car follows the Volvo C70 Inscription, which was unveiled just before last year’s Los Angeles auto show.

Semi-aniline leather covers the seats in colors including Marble White, Toscana Tan, Off-black, or Soft Beige. Other interior upgrades within the Volvo include front headrests with the Inscription logo; leather center console; door insert matched to seat color; Inscription logo on the tread plates; power adjustable lumbar support; and an optional charcoal headliner.

Inscription Electric Silver special-effect paint and Inscription Avior 20-inch wheels are also available. Buyers can specify the Inscription package with any of the XC60’s engines. The package is available globally and will be adapted to local markets. A Volvo representative tells us the 2013 Volvo XC60 Inscription edition is coming to the U.S., but indicated precise details and pricing would be released this summer.

The Volvo XC60 Inscription goes on sale in certain markets this month, but oddly, this latest Volvo special-edition model won’t make its global auto show debut until the 2012 Leipzig Motor Show in June.
