When two rival automakers reveal production-spec entry-level luxury sedans at the New York auto show, there are bound to be some comparisons. The 2013 Lexus ES and the 2013 Lincoln MKZ took center stage in their respective booths.
The two cars have quite a bit in common. Both share platforms with mainstream, front-drive family sedans. Fortunately the ES and MKZ benefit from unique design languages that distinguish their style from the pedestrian sedans on which they’re based.
