See and Hear the 2013 Ferrari California in Action

2013-Ferrari-California-Right The refresh of Ferrari’s front-engine, 2+2 folding hardtop grand tourer was revealed at the Geneva show two months ago, with upgrades to the engine and a new Handling Speciale challenge. Although not as hard-core or extreme as the 458 Italia or the recently-unveiled 730-hp F12 Berlinetta, with a claimed 0-60 time of just 3.8 seconds, the California “cruiser” is no lightweight in the performance department.

For the 2013 model, horsepower got a bump from 454 to 490, and torque went from 357 to 372 lb-ft. If you were curious as to what the California sounds like under the whip, wonder no more. Ferrari posted a video of the 2013 California driving around Marnello’s twisting roads, with plenty of acceleration runs and downshifts for your aural pleasure.
