2012 BMW M3 Frozen Silver coupe launched

2012-BMW-M3-Frozen-Silver-coupe The BMW M3 Frozen Silver coupe, a limited-edition version of the BMW M3 coupe, will go on sale this summer.

Production of the Frozen Silver coupe will be limited to just 100 cars in the UK. It will come with a special silver metallic paint scheme, 19-inch matt-black alloys, electronic damper control and lowered suspension. A dark chrome exhaust and black bonnet intakes are among the other styling flourishes.

Inside, there are black leather seats with contrast stitching, an alcantara-covered steering wheel and carbonfibre cabin trim. Each car will get a plaque to show which number it is.

The Frozen Silver model uses the same 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine and seven-speed automatic gearbox found in the regular M3 coupe, so it will blast from 0-62mph in just 4.6 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 155mph. Average economy is 25.2mpg, with CO2 emissions of 263g/km.

Scheduled to arrive in June, the M3 Frozen Silver coupe will cost £58,720 – that’s just £1385 more than the standard M3 with automatic transmission.
