BentleyEXP9F At the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (also known as Auto China), Bentley revealed a new Sport Utility Vehicle called the EXP 9F (pictured) – a model that could soon get the hybrid touch.

This luxury SUV has several powertrains under consideration including: a 500bhp, 4.0litre V8 Twin Turbo and a V6 plug-in hybrid. These will be in addition to the 6.0litre, W12 engine of the flagship model.

In the existing Bentley EXP 9F, three driving modes are available: comfort, sport and off-road. These can be adjusted according to the type of journey and road environment.

Bentley is currently the third largest research and development investor in the UK’s automotive sector and has enjoyed rapid growth in China which was its largest market in the first quarter with sales in the region up 84.9 per cent to 578 models.
